I have just completed a Post graduate MSc course in Web Technologies. I completed a Bsc Honours Degree in Computing and Accounting in 2007. During this degree I completed an industrial placement in the IT department of Pepsico International UK. I have a flexible attitude to the working day and am happy to work individually or as part of a team.
Qualifications
I have recently completed a MSc in Web Technologies at Oxford Brookes University. This degree has yet to be given the final class as the dissertation is not yet graded. All other modules of this award have been passed.
I completed a Bsc Honours Degree in Computing and Accounting at Oxford Brookes University in 2007. The areas of study have included programming in Delphi, designing computer systems, Project Management, Human computer interface design, web design, database management, networks and Corporate, financial and cost/management accounting. My degree class was an Upper Second Class with Honours.
During my undergraduate degree I completed an industrial placement with Pepsico International UK. During this placement I was an IT Functional Annalyst, looking after the companies field sales and content management systems. This job involved communicating with users and technical personnel.
I was at Skegness Grammar School in Lincolnshire from September 2000 till July 2002 for A Levels in Information Communication Technology, Business Studies, General Studies and an AS Level in Maths and Physics.
I studied GCSE�s at The Giles School, Old Leake, near Boston, Lincolnshire from September 1995 till July 2000. I achieved 1 A, 4 B�s and 3 C�s in Maths, Science, Business Studies, English, French and Electronics.
I have achieved my Millennium Volunteer 200 hour award for 200 hours volunteer work which I did within the Scout association.
I hold my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award which I achieved in the year 2000 at the Giles School.

| July 2005 � July 2007 | I completed a years industrial Placement with Pepsico International UK as an IT Functional Analyst, working with their field sales and content management systems. I also completed a three week assignment on their IT helpdesk. This placement involved dealing with users issues and working with technical personnel to resolve issues and educate users about the correct use of systems. After the years placement I was offered a part time position for the remainder of my undergraduate degree. |
| January 2004 � February 2005 | I worked during term time for Oxford City Council as a Casual Lifeguard. This gave me experience of working with all age groups and some difficult customers within a work environment which is very safety conscious. |
| March 2003 � August 2003 | I worked in France for a travel company called �PGL� which specialises in organising activity holidays for children aged between 8 and 18 year old. This job gave me a huge variety of different work which included bar work, kitchen work, cleaning, activity instructing and entertainments. It was also a position of responsibility as I was trusted to maintain the safety, and security of the children while in my care on what could be dangerous equipment. |

Positions of Responsibility
I was a prefect at both Skegness Grammar School and The Giles School. At the University I have been Treasurer, President and Chairman of the Universities Mountaineering Society. In my work as a lifeguard and with PGL I have been trusted with the safety of the customers in potentially dangerous surroundings. I have run and supervised activities within the Scout Association and have been given the responsibility of organising a teams of younger helpers to run activities. During the World Scout Jamboree, I instructed activities for the forty thousand participants from all over the world, which meant taking into account cultural and language differences and working around these. I was also a voluntary Cub Scout Leader for my local group and help organise activities for them, including a trip to Legoland Windsor.
Interests and Hobbies
I have a very keen interest in outdoor pursuits and adventurous activities, such as hill walking, climbing, canoeing, cycling and camping. I have a keen interest in business, especially how computers fit into business.
